Meet the Coach

  • Former professional player in England, Scotland and Ireland.  Darren has competed at highest levels of the game, giving him a deep understanding of player development and elite competition.  

  • UEFA A and USSF A License (highest coaching qualifications in Europe and the US) ensuring that his training methods meet top international standards. 

  • 20+ years of elite coaching experience in the US 

  • Proven track record of developing technically sound, tactically intelligent players.  

Darren brings professional standards, attention to detail, and a development-first approach that prepares players for high-level competition now and in the future.

What the Players Can Expect:

Training Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

  • 1.25 hours per session

  • Three high-intensity, structured training days each week. 

​

Training Focus: 

  • Technical excellence under pressure

  • Tactical decision-making and game understanding 

  • Speed of play, positioning and mentality

  • Physical development appropriate for growth stages

 

Competition: 

  • EDP League Matches 

  • High-level tournaments throughout the year

  • Regular exposure to top opponents across the region.

Who We're Looking For: 

We are evaluating boys born between 8/1/2015-7/31/2016

Ideal Players Demonstrate: 

  • Strong technical ability

  • Coachability and competitive mentality

  • Commitment to a demanding training schedule

  • Desire to improve and be pushed

This environment is not for casual participation.  

It is for players ready to invest in their development.

How the Evaluation Process Works

This is NOT a one-day tryout.

We believe players should be evaluated in a real training environment. 

Step 1: Register using the form below. 

Step 2: Attend 1-2 training sessions with the team.  

Step 3: Individual follow-up from the loan.  

All evaluations are confidential and professional.  

Tryout Dates / Times / Locations: ​

Wednesdays: 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13

Time: 7:00-8:00PM

Location: Olney Elementary School
