2016 OBGC Rangers

The 2016 OBGC Rangers are dedicated to developing young athletes in a competitive and supportive environment. With two teams competing in EDP, we focus on technical excellence, tactical awareness, and a passion for the game. Led by former professional soccer player Darren Beesley, who holds his UEFA A and USSF A license, our program provides elite training and high-level competition to help players reach their full potential.

About the Rangers

League Play & Tournaments: Both teams compete in EDP and in 2 competitive tournaments a year at a level that enables the players to be challenged and successful.
Practice: The teams practice 2 nights a week for 1.5 hours in Olney.
Focus: Teams train with a focus on technical excellence, strategic gameplay and physical conditioning.
Philosophy: We believe in developing well-rounded players who are not only successful on the field but also display sportsmanship, teamwork and a strong work ethic.

Coach Darren Beesley

Coach Darren Beesley brings a wealth of experience from both his professional playing career and two decades of coaching in the US. A former professional player in England, Scotland and Ireland, Darren has competed at highest levels of the game, giving him a deep understanding of player development and elite competition.

He holds both the UEFA A and USSF A License, the highest coaching qualifications in Europe and the US, ensuring that his training methods meet top international standards. With 20 years of coaching experience in the US, Darren has helped develop countless young athletes, focusing on technical excellence, tactical intelligence and physical and mental growth.

His passion for the game and commitment to player development makes him an exceptional leader for the 2013 OBGC Rangers, helping young players reach their full potential on and off the field.
